Almighty God,
As we celebrate the 7th Sunday in Ordinary Time,
we offer you in prayer all those who are
persecuted because of your name.
We give thanks to those who lead us in the
Faith: our Pope, bishops, priests, deacons
and religious.
We pray for our own vocation in life,
that we can stop and listen to what
your will is for us.
We ask this through Christ, our Lord.
